The Ozarks Discovery IMAX Theater and Mall houses the big screen IMAX Theater, the stadium-style seating Elite Cinema III, the live shows of the Little Opry Theatre, the family-style McFarlain's Restaurant and the IMAX Food Court with Breadeaux Pizza and Frozen Yogurt.
The big screen IMAX features adventures shown daily on the 6-story-tall and 83-feet-wide giant screen. You really feel like you're in the middle of the action with the 22,000-watt digital quality 44-speaker surround sound. Some of the IMAX films include "Deep Sea," "The Greatest Places," "Hurricane on the Bayou," "Fighter Pilot Operation Red Flag," "Mystery of the Nile" and "Ozarks Legacy & Legend."
The big screen IMAX now also shows regular 35-mm Hollywood films using a specialized projection lens. It makes the films up to 7-times larger than a normal screen.
The Elite Cinema III is not an IMAX Theater, but an amazing experience all-the-same. Each theater features stadium-style seating, oversized seats with adjustable arm rests, ample leg room, Tempur-Pedic foam seat pads (for the ultimate in comfort) along with an impressive digital surround sound system. You can see new, first-run movies on a screen that's 7 times larger than a normal movie screen. Experience it! And, yes, it's crisp and clear.
