The
Branson Lake Queen Paddleboat is an
old-fashioned double-decker paddle wheeler offering excursions down
Lake Taneycomo. It's
100-feet-long and can carry up to 149 passengers. There's a
climate-controlled lower deck with panoramic views and a spectacular
outdoor upper deck.
It offers 1 1/2-hour or 2-hour
sightseeing cruises on Lake Taneycomo. The 1 1/2-hour cruise travels north to an area called "The Old Gold Mine," and the 2-hour cruise is a round-trip north to Rockaway Beach. Both cruises include a
narration by the captain pointing out historical points of interest along the way.
The Branson Lake Queen Paddleboat offers
daily sightseeing cruises and a special
Pizza Cruise on Lake Taneycomo.
The
Sightseeing Cruise on the Branson Lake Queen Paddlwheeler does not serve food or drinks, but a
deli lunch can be added to your ticket. There's also a variety of
snacks and alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages available for
purchase on-board.
The
Pizza Cruise on the Branson Lake Queen Paddlewheeler serves
hand-tossed gourmet pizza with your choice of cheese, pepperoni or sausage toppings.
Branson Landing Cruises at
Gage's Marina & Shoppes also offers breakfast, and early & late dinner cruises on the new
Branson Landing Princess, a luxury yacht.
Excursions on
Lake Taneycomo have taken place over the past 97 years, with the most notable being the
Sammy Lane Boat Line and the
original Lake Queen. The original Lake Queen is undergoing extensive
restoration and remodeling and will eventually be at Gage's Marina & Shoppes as a
museum and pub.
