Location: 3125 Green Mountain Drive – on Green Mountain Dr. at Gretna Blvd. A 9,200-square-foot Tasting and Bottling Experience!
Hours: Open all year, except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Call for current hours.
Mount Pleasant features wines that have won many International, National and Local awards as well as an assortment of sparkling juices. The tasting galleries can be reserved for receptions or custom wine-tasting events with a wine expert.
There is also a wine shop, an art gallery and a hands-on bottling experience. You have the unique opportunity to bottle your own dessert wine from a specially designed 600-gallon French oak barrel.The bottles of wine are the perfect souvenir or gift with a personal touch.
The Branson location opened in April 2008, but the original Mount Pleasant Winery was established in 1859, and is located in the heart of the Augusta Appellation wine district in Augusta, Missouri.
In Branson, the decor and architecture of the beautiful ledgestone building offers a relaxed atmosphere. Stone and heavy timberwood columns frame the 30-foot ceilings and surround the black stone tasting bar.
Also offering Wine 101 – classes to enhance your knowledge of wine (tasting, food pairing & cork firing). Classes held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11:00 am. Complimentary souvenir wine glass included with class fee. Length of class: 1 hour. Call for reservations.
