Branson Zipline and Canopy Tours At Wolfe Creek Preserve
It's Branson's
newest form of outdoor entertainment! It combines
ecology and
adventure in a fun activity that's
fun and safe for people of all ages. Visitors soar through the trees over multiple ziplines and skywalks on a breathtaking tour of the Ozark Mountains.
There are 4 ways to soar above it all, with each adventure highlighting information about topographical, ecological and historical features of the area:
Blue Streak Fastline with the FreeFall Xpress - single Zipline: a non-stop single-line zip (1/4-mile) from the top of the mountain to the bottom platform, complete with a surprising dismount. The bottom platform is actually a 100-ft tower, and from there you do a freefall from the top of the tower to the ground. A unique rewind mechanism is incorporated in
The PowerFan, which is what powers the FreeFall Xpress, providing subtle tensile strength as the fall begins. The fan is driven by the descending person's mass. There is no external power source. The PowerFan allows a person to fall 70-feet before gently slowing over the next 30-feet to a complete stop.
Flying Prospector Canopy Tour (appx. 1 1/2 hours): a full-scale guided canopy tour with many of the highlights of Wolfe Creek Preserve featured. You'll soar through the trees over multiple ziplines and skywalks on a breathtaking tour of the Ozark Mountains. A great introduction to visitors new to canopy tours. A family pass is available on this tour only. The Flying Prospector Canopy Tour can be done in the DARK during evening and nighttime tours – call ahead for availability & reservations!
Ozark Xplorer - Zipline & Canopy Tour (appx. 2 1/2 hours): an inclusive, interactive guided tour over suspension bridges, platforms and multiple ziplines. There is extra time to explore the features of the region and discover the secrets of Wolfe Creek Preserve. Enjoy the beauty of the Ozark Mountains from the unique perspective of gliding through the canopy of trees, past rugged bluffs and above the forest floor. Professional guides will share topographical and ecological insights while bringing to life the history of Wolfe Creek Preserve. The Ozark Xplorer Zipline & Canopy Tour can be done in the DARK during evening and nighttime tours – call ahead for availability & reservations!
