At the
God and Country Theatre, 1840 W. Highway 76. Located on the strip in Branson, next to
Applebee's Restaurant.
Lisa Layne, singer of the
#7 all-time smash Christmas hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You," is back again with her country music show at the
God and Country Theatre located at 1840 W. Hwy 76 in Branson. There is lots of music and fun as
Lisa performs songs that will make you smile. Sing along and enjoy the memories.
In early 1995 Lisa won the role of
Patsy Cline in the first
National Tour of a "Closer Walk With Patsy Cline." She toured with that troupe for the better part of
2 years before joining the
Nashville Troupe as the lead in the same show. She performed at the
Texas Troubadour Theater in Nashville doing the Patsy show from 1998 through 2000. Lisa's show is her
tribute to Patsy Cline, and it's an experience to remember.
Close your eyes and feel Patsy's presence!
Lisa Layne is without question a seasoned performer and a true professional. She has appeared on-stage with
Miami Sound Stage, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Hall and Oates, Julio Iglesias, Little Eva, Larry Gatlin, Fats Domino, Chicago, Mel McDaniel, Jimmy C. Newman, Johnny Russell and
many, many others.
Lisa Layne's
Always Patsy show is
endorsed by the
Cline Foundation and Estate...and features a LIVE band! The show features more than
24 of Patsy's hits, including "I Fall To Pieces," "Back In Baby's Arms," "Blue Moon of Kentucky," "Sweet Dreams," "Crazy" and many more.
The newly remodeled
God and Country Theatre is the place to see popular artists in a cozy setting. There are only
400 seats...and they're the comfortable
movie-style seats. This is also one of the few Branson theaters that
allows you to take pictures during any of the shows (still photos only; no audio or video).
Lisa's dynamic, bigger-than-life personality & style will delight you. Watch a video preview of
Always Patsy here.
Always Patsy is at 2 pm; April 3 through December 3, 2011.
Historical notes for Lisa Layne: In June 2009 is was announced that Lisa Layne would return to Branson in the Fall with performances at the God & Country Theatre.
