Now at
The Barbara Fairchild Diner, 3044 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway in the Victorian Village (next to the
Hamner Barber Theatre)
Performing
stand-up comedy since 1977, Bob Nelson has planted himself and his family in
Branson and is now performing at the
Barbara Fairchild Diner in 2010.
He has previously performed in
many well-known places: Radio City Music Hall, Las Vegas, The Ford Theater (for President Ronald Reagan), Carnegie Hall and on Broadway.
He's been on
The Merv Griffin Show and
The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
He was on the
The Ninth Annual Young Comedians Special, which is where he introduced his
classic football piece (where he parodies the old team rundowns in the NFL All Star games in which players announced their names, number, and their team...watch it
here!) and one of his most popular characters,
Jiffy Jeff, a punchy prizefighter.
You may have also seen him on his
two HBO specials or in the movies
Kindergarten Cop,
This Is My Life and
Brain Donors.
Come see
Bob and his list of zany, rubber-faced characters in Branson at the
Barbara Fairchild Diner. Bob
gets his laughs with silliness (not vulgarity), so don't hesitate to
bring the whole family! The show is
90 minutes long (no intermission).
Shows are Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays at 8 pm; May 4 through December 9, 2010.
Historical notes for the Bob Nelson Comedy Show in Branson: Previously performing at the old location of the
Clay Cooper Theatre, 2215 W Highway 76 (across from
Ride The Ducks).
