At the
Oak Ridge Boys Theatre, 464 State Highway 248 (originally
The Glen Campbell Theatre; located just off Highway 65 & Highway 248; adjacent to
Yakov's What A Country! Theatre).
When
Country Tonite came to Branson almost
15 years ago, it came with high spirits, great songs, a grand band, wonderful dancers, and it was quickly one of the
hottest shows to hit the Branson scene. It received great affection and applause.
Over the years, the show has changed, moved, moved, and moved again. The show found a
new home in 2008, and returns to the 2,150-seat
Oak Ridge Boys Theatre on Highway 248 again in 2010.
Another exciting part of the show is that Country Tonite has some
very special guests joining the
second half of every show throughout the year. You'll get
two shows for the price of one - the first half, Country Tonite, the second half,
Marty Haggard or
3 Redneck Tenors!
The new
Country Tonite Show is something to see! If you love
classic country music,
number-one country hits from throughout the years,
and some of the
most current country flavor - then you'll love the show again. A truly
talented cast of vocalists, award-winning dancers and
fabulous musicians all provide a knee-slappin' good time for
all ages.
When you aren't singing along with the great country music, be prepared to
laugh till it hurts with some
brand-new comedy. Country Tonite didn't forget those of you who love
gospel music...and they have a great
traditional red, white, and blue celebration of the good ole USA! The new show is family entertainment at its best.
Here are the dates for Country Tonite's Special Guests in 2010 (subject to change)
:
Country Tonite with special guest Marty Haggard: April 13 - July 4, 2010
& August 17 - December 11, 2010. When Marty Haggard takes the stage, it's a tribute to...can you guess? You're right - you get to hear the stories behind his father's experiences and songs, plus Marty sings his dad's classics.
Country Tonite with special guest 3 Redneck Tenors: July 6 - August 15, 2010. The 3 Redneck Tenors sing close harmonies, a cappella-style, while dressed as...you guessed it, Rednecks. If you watched season 2 of
America's Got Talent (the same season
The Duttons appeared on the show), you may have seen the 3 Redneck Tenors perform "Beethoven's 5th Symphony." Click
here to see it again! Good stuff!
