The evening shows at the 900-seat
Dick Clark American Bandstand Theater showcase a revolving line-up of original rock-n-roll stars.
The two evening shows at the theater are the
Righteous Brothers' Bill Medley and
Paul Revere & The Raiders, and "
The Original Stars at American Bandstand starring Fabian and Bobby Vee." Combo tickets are available for lunch and/or dinner at
Dick Clark's American Bandstand Grill and a visit to '57 Heaven.
Bill Medley, best known as one half of the singing duo
The Righteous Brothers, performs with
Paul Revere & the Raiders. The Righteous Brothers' first hit was "
You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," produced by
Phil Spector in 1964. Follow-up hits included "
(You're My) Soul and Inspiration" and "
Unchained Melody." The duo broke up in 1968, but returned with another hit in 1974, "
Rock And Roll Heaven."
In 1987
Bill Medley's duet with Jennifer Warnes, "
(I've Had) The Time of My Life," was included on the "
Dirty Dancing" soundtrack album and the single reached
number one on the
Billboard Hot 100.
Paul Revere & the Raiders is an American rock band that saw enormous success in the 1960s, best-known for hits like "
Indian Reservation (The Lament Of The Cherokee Reservation Indian)," "
Steppin' Out," "
Kicks," "
Let Me" and "
Hungry." They appeared regularly on Dick Clark's "
Where the Action Is," "
Happening '68," and "
It's Happening."
