Now playing at the
Hot Hits Theater in
Downtown Branson, 206 S Commercial Street.
Elvis is still magic, and
impressionist Dave Ehlert brings it all back again in
Elvis and the Superstars. This year (2010) is his 17th smash-hit season in Branson. It's a full-hour of
Elvis followed by Ehlert's uncanny impersonations of
Patsy Cline,
Johnny Mathis,
Neil Diamond,
Tom Jones,
Ann-Margret,
Sonny & Cher,
Liberace,
Ray Charles,
The Blues Brothers,
Shania Twain,
Willie Nelson,
Roy Orbison and more.
You may have seen Dave when he was featured on "
Oprah," CNN's "Showbiz," CBS's "Nightwatch," or in the "Legends" show in Las Vegas. Dave has been recreating the "King" et al
since 1967 and since 1994 has been winning new fans in
downtown Branson.
The show is at 2 pm Monday through Wednesday; March 8 through December 29, 2010 (no shows Oct. 21 - Dec 23, 2010).
Historical Notes for Elvis & The Superstars show:
Previously at the
Historic Owen's Theatre in
Downtown Branson, 205 S Commercial Street.
The Owen's Theatre is
Branson's first theater, built in
1935 by former Branson Mayor Jim Owen. It is now (and has been for the past 15 years in 2009) the home of
Elvis and the Superstars and 2 other shows. The theater's
200 seats have been replaced, but its
rustic rock walls,
"A-frame" cathedral ceiling and
Fireplace Room Lobby are still there for a perfect blend of "old" and "new."
