At the
God and Country Theatre, 1840 W Highway 76. Located on the strip in Branson, next to
Applebee's Restaurant.
When
singer,
songwriter,
entertainer &
impressionist Mike Walker hits the stage, you're sure to be entertained. He performs over 50 impressions of your favorite stars and does his own songs, too. Mike's show
starts your afternoon off right at the
God and Country Theatre located at 1840 W. Hwy 76 in Branson.
We've heard that
Mike actually has
nearly 200 singing voices in his repertoire (too many to fit into one show) and a
five-octave singing range.
Here are some voices you may see in the show: Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Larry Gatlin, Conway Twitty, Marty Robbins, Aaron Neville, James Brown, The Temptations, Sam Cook, The Platters, Roy Orbison, Frankie Valli, The Marcels, Righteous Brothers, Mickey Gilley and Elvis.
He also does
non-singing voices, like Kermit the Frog, Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan and Foghorn Leghorn!
Mike has toured the country and shared the stage with plenty of recognizable stars: Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Keith Urban, Lonestar, Rascal Flatts, Phil Vasser, Aaron Tippin, John Michael Montgomery, Jessica Andrews, Alabama, Mickey Gilley, John Conlee, The Bellamy Brothers, The Coasters, The Drifter and Dr. Hook.
Watch Mike, and only Mike, perform a duet here. Yep,
one guy doing
Ray Charles and
Willie Nelson in one song. Good stuff!
The newly remodeled
God and Country Theatre is the place to see popular artists in a cozy setting. There are only
400 seats...and they're the comfortable
movie-style seats.
This is also one of the few Branson theaters that
allows you to take pictures during any of the shows (still photos only; no audio or video).
The Mike Walker Show is at 2:00 pm; May 1 through December 7, 2012.
