At the
Hamner Barber Theatre, 3090 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway (just down from the
Shoji Tabuchi Theatre).
It's back in 2012!
There's
one show only for the
6th Annual Plummer Family Reunion Show at the Hamner Barber Theatre on
Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
The
Plummer Family took a family vacation to Branson in
1971, and like many folks,
loved the area so much that they decided to move here. In
1973 they opened
one of the first country music theaters in Branson, The Plummer Family Country Music Theater. It operated for
18 years before mom & dad Plummer,
Rosie & Darrell, retired.
Randy Plummer, their son, started performing as a child in his parents' theater – and he
continues performing in Branson to this day. This year, 2012, marks
his 40th Branson season! So you can imagine his excitement at the chance to perform in another
reunion show with his parents and other family members, along with a slew of talented musicians. It's just like the old days. He's back onstage with
Darrell & Rosie, his nephew
Josh Driskill,
Gary & Colleen Kay Moore and their daughter
Jennie,
Harley Clements and
Mike Tawfall.
It's a
once-a-year chance to see
The Plummers back in Branson onstage together. Traditional
country, gospel and
comedy at its best!
