One of the LIVE shows at the 210-seat Little Opry Theatre, A Tribute to John Denver & Country Music Legends features James Garrett, the former guitarist and vocalist for the two-time Grammy award-winning group The Kendalls (best known for their mega-hit "Heaven's Just a Sin Away"), singing John Denver's best-loved hits..."Country Roads," "Back Home Again," "Annie's Song" and many more.
James Garrett and John Denver were long-time buddies - you get to hear stories about certain songs, their composition and John Denver's life and experiences from a first-hand perspective. In September 2009, John Denver's mother Erma Swope Deutschendorf attended Garrett's Tribute show. Pretty cool!
James Garrett has also performed with Marie Osmond and the Osmond Brothers; and he has toured with Dolly Parton, Ricky Skaggs, Glen Campbell and more.
