A little break for Andy

Andy Williams is going to take some time off from his Moon River Theater in Branson to complete and promote an autobiography. Nine months off, to be exact. His Christmas shows will go through December 13 this year; and next year he starts back up with his 17th Branson season on September 1 with his new All-Star Variety Show (September 1-30, 2009); and he finishes up again with his Christmas Show from November 2 - December 7, 2009.

That leaves the Moon River Theatre, for most of 2009, open for performances by (drum roll, please)...The Righteous Brothers' Bill Medley and Paul Revere & The Raiders and Bill Haley's Original Comets. Their performances will be from April through October 2009. Both of these shows are currently playing at Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre.
