What did we love about our recent visit to the Titanic Museum Attraction and the new Molly Brown Gallery?
Silver, lace and crystal – oh my! The "Unsinkable" Molly Brown had an interesting life story that you'll enjoy learning about (We did!). This new gallery features intriguing photographs and items that belonged to Molly. Her great-granddaughter, Helen Benziger, chose the artifacts to display and offers personal comments to read about each one. You'll gain meaningful insight into Molly's life before and after her Titanic voyage.
Be sure to look for the movie poster and pale green silk beaded dress from the 1964 movie The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Debbie Reynolds, who played Molly Brown, wore the dress during her birthday celebration party in Paris. It's in excellent condition – on display with a full-length mirror behind the dress so you can see the elaborate bead pattern on both the front and back.
No picture-taking is allowed while you tour The Titanic, but click here to see a photo of the dress from the auction site icollector.com. Trust us, though, the dress is twice as stunning in person.
Visit the Titanic Museum Attraction while you're in Branson. Like us, you'll be glad you did!
